This scarf is handwoven using a checkerboard-like ikat that is finished with ikat stripes and hand-twisted tassels. The silk and cotton yarn for this scarf is dyed in this dynamic ikat design before the loom is strung. The sienna and ivory tones are reminiscent of the Mojave Desert.
